IP Addressable
Cameras: Protecting you into the Future
Security is
increasingly becoming more and more a part of our lives everyday. The
more “stuff” we but, the more we want to be able to protect it from
getting stolen. Since security is more popular now than ever, there
have been several technological advancements that make security better
than ever. One of the biggest advancements in security technology is
the invention of the security camera. Security cameras have come a long
way from when they were first being used in security systems.
When video
surveillance systems hit the market in the mid 80’s they had a huge
impact on how security was handled and how crimes were investigated.
Back then however, the recording systems required a hard wire from the
camera directly to the recording device, which was typically a VCR.
This worked great, but what if you wanted to get away from whatever you
are trying to and still want to be able to view what you are recording?
Technology has
come a long way and with the invention of the Internet, it has helped
change the way video surveillance and recording systems work. IP
addressable cameras have been invented so you can view your recordings
no matter where you are as long as you have a connection to the
Internet. This allows you the freedom of being able to go anywhere or
do anything while still having the piece of mind that your valuables or
whatever you are recording remain protected. Another great thing about
these cameras is that if you change the place of recording, it is easy
to just pick up and move while still being able to record and view over
the internet. You don’t have to worry about any kind of wires to
re-route.
IP addressable
cameras for video surveillance systems are incredibly stable and
reliable. Because the technology is only in its beginning stages, it
can only get better from here. Although the technology is sure to
increase, it’s safe to say that you wont outgrow the technology any time
soon because the advancements are made to improve the systems already
placed, not replace them.
It’s safe to say
that video surveillance systems are incredibly helpful when you want to
keep an eye on your most important valuables. Regular video
surveillance systems are good, but systems with IP addressable cameras
are better because you can view what you are protecting from anywhere
around the word, and if you want to change locations, it’s very easy to
just pick the cameras up and move them. |
